Yes, it was funny looking; but some guys tricked it out into a street vehicle:

Buffalo Springfield
There was a rock group from the mid-1960's called Buffalo Springfield, best known for their classic song "For What It's Worth." It has the memorable lines in it:
"Paranoia strikes deep
Into your life it will creep;
It starts when you're always afraid,
Step out of line, theyll come and take you away"
The group's name was taken from that of a steamroller company.

Little Bunny Foo Foo
- And down, down, down came the Good Fairy, and said:
- "Little Bunny Foo Foo
- I don't want to see you
- Scooping up the field mice
- And bopping them on the head.
- I'm going to give you three chances,
- And if you don't behave,
- And then, I'm going to turn you into a...GOOOOOON!"
- Little Bunny Foo Foo
- Hopping through the forest,
- Scooping up the field mice
- And bopping them on the head.
- And down, down, down came the Good Fairy, and said:
- "Little Bunny Foo Foo
- I don't want to see you
- Scooping up the field mice
- And bopping them on the head.
- I'm going to give you two more chances,
- And if you don't behave,
- And then, I am going to turn you into a...GOOOOOON!"
- Little Bunny Foo Foo
- Hopping through the forest,
- Scooping up the field mice
- And bopping them on the head.
- And down, down, down came the Good Fairy, and said:
- "Little Bunny Foo Foo
- I don't like your attitude
- Scooping up the field mice
- And bopping them on the head.
- I'm going to give you one more chance,
- And if you don't behave,
- And then, I am definitely going to turn you into a...GOOOOOON!
- And it won't be pretty!"
- Little Bunny Foo Foo
- Hopping through the forest,
- Scooping up the field mice
- And bopping them on the head.
- "That's it."
- Then the Good Fairy came down,
- And then she turned Little Bunny Foo Foo into a...GOOOOOON!
- And the moral of the story is:
- "HARE TODAY, GOON TOMORROW".

1990's Slang: A and B
What's up girl?
Alright, Okay
Expression. That which has everyone's attention
Means "It's the best and then some."
As in "I'm all" or "She was all..." A replacement for the term "like". Usually seems to mean "says" or "said". "He was all, 'Are you mad at me?' and I was all 'No way, what are you talking about?'
expression. back in the days of..., '90s version of "When I was..." or "Remember when...?"
Term used to call someone a redneck ie "Dude that guy was a bama."
Has it going on..
money...usually dollars. Let me borrow 2 beans for the soda.
False, bullshit. Said when you don't believe someone. Usually accompanied by scratching the chin.
n. phonetic variant of "bitch," usu. used as a term of endearment toward someone you're too macho to address more politely
If you ask someone "Yo, wanna go get blazed?" You are asking them if they want to go smoke weed. Or already high "Man, I'm blazed"
Jewelry
noun.it means freind, or homeboy. Typically men use it to refer to each other. i.e. "what's up blood?"
1) Adj. Par excellence! Out of this world!
To leave "lets bounce"
Bacically means bad "That movie was brutal dogg"
Same as trippin', Freaking out. "Man you's buggin the otha night dawg."
Crazy, messed-up...

Virgin Pins
Circle pins are an artifact from the 1960's that girls wore on their blouse or cardigan collars. The custom had it that this was a way of proclaiming her virgin status back in a time when such status was acclaimed, hence it was called a virgin pin.
Supposedly, you were to stop wearing it if you lost your virginity. So the rumors and conventional wisdom had it. That's why they were called virgin pins.

The Scope of the Blog.
I mean this blog to be a humorous look at artifacts from the last, mostly the Twentieth Century past. While I'm not trying to offend (God knows the present day is absurd enough), there was some really funny stuff that was not necessarily thought that way when it first appeared. The plan is to draw from popular culture at the time in question, and bring back memories, perhaps, and see things over time to be light as they should have been at the time. If you have any suggestion, please post them in this blog, Okay?
I guess the inaugural subject to lead this blog off is the old 1965 song, Hang on Sloopy. It had a nice, sexy video with it even though it preceded M.T.V. While the song has a nice theme and beat, it was catapulted into the funny realm by it adopted by the Ohio State marching band and being named the official state rock song of Ohio!
Enjoy!
